Maurice's diverse portfolio includes working as a self-employed mechanic and even holding two separate supervisory roles in public safety. Many years, one year at a time, have led to one heck of a ride that has taught many important lessons, including building working relationships with people. Maurice has been transporting people & goods safely for over 25 years.

His career training includes Privet Investigation specializing in accident investigation and roadway incident management.

Maurice is the founder of Smart Solutions Professional Services, LLC., and a Master Instructor with over 26 years of paid driving experience, over nine of which were in the commercial driving (C.D.L.) industry. Maurice has driven and trained for Cars, Tractor Trailers, Motorcoaches, Transit buses, and shuttle buses.

 

Maurice's training includes in-service and ongoing professional training. He attended professional training from a state-certified commercial Driving school. Maurice furthered his education by gaining private investigator credentials from PennFoster Career School, which holds Regional and National Accreditation. Maurice specialized in accident investigations, studying cause and prevention. 

 

Additional Career  CEU courses in subjects in Highway Incident Management while serving over five years with the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Currently, in addition to duties as founder of Smarter Solutions Professional Services, LLC. Maurice is an online content writer specializing in Commercial Transportation Employee Safety and risk management. As an instructor, Maurice works with small and large groups, teaching the latest in motor vehicle operation safety and compliance. 

As a consultant, Maurice works as an Advisory Board Consultant for new start-up companies. Helping people solve problems with difficulty launching concepts and large-budget projects.

Starting in the Summer of 2025, Maurice is planning to relaunch his public speaking talents to businesses and social audiences. More information will be released on this site by Christmas 2024.
